Hello, I'm Alexandru MÇŽzÇŽreanu
I am a physiotherapist from Romania, and I work in Bucharest. My academic career began with graduating from the Faculty of Sport and Motor Performance at UNEFS Bucharest. After these three years of studies, I realized that to truly understand the dynamics of the human body, a deeper knowledge of its mechanisms is necessary.
Thus, in 2013 I enrolled in the courses of the Faculty of Physiotherapy and Special Motricity within the same university. In 2015, I began to explore the field of osteopathy, participating in various courses offered by OMT London. In 2018, I continued my training in this field at LCO Canada, where I followed the DOMP program.
This step marked an expansion of my career in manual osteopathy, allowing me to apply effective and successful treatments for most musculoskeletal and structural conditions associated with incorrect alignment, trauma, injury or aging. Also in 2018, I began my studies at the DGSA Academy, and in 2019 I became an internationally certified therapist in the DGSA® Dry Needling technique.
I have a keen interest in the study of anatomy and physiology, especially in the cause-effect relationship of trigger points in various orthopedic and neurological pathologies. Combining dry needling techniques with osteopathy knowledge is a central aspect of my work.
In 2020, I began studying musculoskeletal ultrasound at Brunel University and completed the PgCert Diagnostic MSKUS at the University of East London in 2022. Since 2022, I have had the honour of working with the Cranio-Cervico-Mandibular Academy as a teaching assistant, where I have contributed to the training and education of future professionals in this field.
A special moment in my career was in 2023, when I started working with the Romanian Olympic Gymnastics Team as the lead physiotherapist. This experience gave me the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills in a high-performance environment, helping athletes reach their full potential.
Through this blog, I aim to share my experience and provide useful information about physiotherapy, osteopathy, and modern treatment techniques.

Workshops and Education
I organize workshops and educational sessions specially designed for patients, based on the idea that a patient who is informed and aware of their condition is much easier to treat.
During these workshops, patients learn about the causes and symptoms of the conditions they suffer from, as well as effective methods of prevention and treatment. I believe that education plays a crucial role in the recovery process, providing patients with not only the necessary knowledge, but also the confidence to better manage their symptoms and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
Thus, my workshops not only inform, but also motivate patients to be active in their own healing process, facilitating more effective communication with me and the medical staff. This approach makes treatment more effective and tailored to the needs of each patient.

Trainer experience
As a specialized trainer for medical professionals, I have had the privilege of delivering high-quality courses focused on essential topics such as Palpatory Anatomy (MSK Clinical Anatomy), Dry Needling and Fascial Manual Therapy. I have also organized MSK Ultrasound Workshops, in collaboration with Dr. Encho Stoyanov, a renowned sports physician from Bulgaria.
In partnership with Dr. Tzvika Greenbaum from Israel, we conducted Cervico-Cranio-Mandibular Rehabilitation (CCMA) courses.
Within the David G. Simons Academy, we have offered a total of 42 Dry Needling and Manual Therapy courses in Romania and Moldova, starting in 2019.
Additionally, together with Dr. Tzvika Greenbaum, we have delivered 13 CCMA courses since 2022, covering international locations such as London, UK, Prague, Czech Republic, Ghent and Antwerp, Belgium, Pristina, Kosovo, and in Romania.
